News desk: BNP is a proof that, if the leaders are not literate
enough then they cannot represent the people of a nation. Illiterate and
fool leaders can lead a country to destruction, BNP proved that very
well. BNP hampered the development process of Bangladesh. Illiteracy is
one of the main reasons behind that. Their chairperson herself passed
class of 8. To be noted, BNP stayed under her leadership for more than
three eras. The future leader of BNP Tarek Rahman who is master of
corruption passed till Higher Secondary. But he did not go for higher
education. Education is very important now; no one knows it better than
BNP, because they are
suffering for it. Tarek Rahman took many decisions
while BNP was in power. Some of these decisions were against the
nation, which made lessened their popularity. Tarek Rahman’s level of
education should share the blame.
Source informed, Acting Chairperson of BNP Tarek Rahman stopped his
school life after completing Higher Secondary School. Begum Zia tried
but failed to make him pursue for higher education. He even got
government’s support for that, still he did not go for it. Rather, he
spent his time on terrorizing the campus and extorting people. His
corrupted life began there. He focused more on the dark sides of human
rather than focusing on the education. He learned politics for himself,
but if he was well educated then he could be able to learn politics
which is good for the people.
A professor of Government and Politics Department of Dhaka University
commented that, Tarek Rahman is realizing now that education is very
important and without it one can suffer badly. Tarek Rahman did not
hesitate to turn this country into a terrorist’s den and submitted
himself in front of money only because he did not receive proper
education. An educated and well aware politician will never sell his own
country as Tarek Rahman did. His mother Khaleda Zia is not literate
enough and Tarek Rahman also followed the same path. These types of
people are very good at hampering the development of the country. They
cannot help the citizens to improve their way of life. People should be
very careful in terms of following them or making them their leaders.
Citizens should do this for themselves and for the sake of the country.
