Barrister Moinul is involved with independence and country opposing activities

News desk: Barrister Moinul Hossain gave lots of speeches regarding the independence and Liberation War. Though he was able to make fans by giving those speeches, but he did not Participated in the Liberation War. Though he claims himself as a supporter of the independence but in truth he was engaged with people who were against the independence. It is very sad but the truth is Moinul Hossain was involved with Pakistani collaborators in Bangladesh during the Liberation War. Intellectuals commented that, Barrister Moinul kept himself occupied with anti-government activities to get advantages time to time.

Data and information regarding the Liberation War show that Khandakar Abdul Hamid was one of the agents who worked for Pakistan in 1971. Barrister Moinul was very responsive to Abdul Hamid. Pakistan Army captured and killed Journalist Khandakar Abu Talib from the Ittefaq office with the help of Khandakar Abdul Hamid. He also helped Pakistan Army to kill Journalist Sirajuddin Hossain. Source informed, Journalist Sirajuddin Hossain started writing column named ‘Monche Nepothye’ after the death of Manik Mia in 1969. Sirajuddin Hossain started writing about the exploitation of Pakistan government on that column. Journalist Sirajuddin used his pen for the people and for the Liberation War. It was very popular at that time. Khandakar Abdul Hamid was a supporter of Jamayate Islami and he worked at the Ittefaq at that time. He was always against the Liberation War of Bangladesh. Abdul Hamid and Moinul Hossain were also personally related. Khandakar Abdul Hamid got the opportunity to continue to write ‘Monche Nepothye’ column when Sirajuddin was absent and of course Moinul Hossain helped him for that. Then he started writing against the movement for independence. Moinul Hossain did not give the opportunity to Sirajuddin to continue ‘Monche Nepothye’ column. Khandakar Abdul Hamid kept writing lies and fabricated information in the column with the aid of Barrister Moinul. Hamid kept writing about Pakistani ideology. During that time, Hamid became a close companion of notorious Pakistani Army Officer named Rao Farman Ali. Barrister Moinul helped him to create the list of the intellectuals. Pakistani army got the opening to start genocide and looting because they got help from people like Barrister Moinul. Collaborators of Pakistan Army captured Sirajuddin Hossain from his home at Chamelibag. He was tortured to death afterward. Barrister Moinul is also one of the suspects behind the murder of Sirajuddin. Besides, Ittefaq published a picture of a woman wearing nothing but a net in 1974. Her name was ‘Bashonti’. It destroyed the image of Bangabandhu government. The killers of Bangabandhu used this picture as propaganda in 1975. It has been said that, Barrister Moinul gave the idea to take the picture of the woman in that form. Agent of Pakistan took the power of Bangladesh when they killed Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family. Moinul Hossain helped these killers at that time. He formed ‘Democratic League’ under the leadership of Khandaker Mostaq Ahmed.
President of Bangladesh Communist Party (CPB) Mujahidul Islam Selim said about Barrister Moinul that, “He did not follow his father Toffazzol Hossain’s footsteps. Instead, he followed Jamayat supporter Khandakar Abdul Hamid’s ideology.” Few years ago he admitted in a meeting with Chatro Shibir (Jamayate Islami endorsed student political party) that he had a long term relation with them. It has turned into important matter because he started talking just before the election. It is also vague that which party Barrister Moinul is serving. He should be boycotted for the well being of Bangladesh politics.
